From The 24 series, this artwork is part of a set of twenty-four 5” x 7” mixed-media collage canvases. Each piece combines painted surfaces, found collage materials, and intentionally crafted elements, created through a spontaneous, intuitive process. The consistent scale unites the series while allowing each work to maintain its own individuality.
The title refers to how I felt about launching my own solo show.
These figures are supportive to each other, they are balanced in their placement and the energy between them is resonant with knowing that what they’re doing feels right, feels comfortable.
The palette is mostly dark and light neutrals, with a few shots of pink.
