RIPT

RIPT. Born from the streets of New York City, this series captures the accidental compositions created by layers of torn, weathered posters. Inspired by pentimento—the Italian painting concept of ‘what is left behind or underneath’—I photograph these textured fragments and digitally collage new elements into the scene. Through this process, I reimagine what’s already there, transforming historical street textures into a visually compelling narrative.
