I often photograph works in progress, and sometimes those photos evolve into standalone pieces. I call these Collage Prints. What defines them is that no physical collage exists—only the digital image.
Cut from magazine pages and arranged over an ombré-painted canvas, the shapes in this piece play with the tension between negative space and positive form. Curves and cutouts interact fluidly with the textured background, creating a layered visual rhythm.
