As I was building this collage, the emerging elements and color palette reminded me of young women working on the Upper East Side of New York City. In my late twenties, I spent a lot of time there while working for Avenue magazine, and it was so fabulous.
The deep pastels, glittery sparkles, and metallic accents in this piece capture that energy of discovery, sophistication, and glamour.
