RIP’T
Coming from the streets of New York City, where layers of
torn posters create accidental compositions rich with texture and history.
I was inspired by the idea of pentimento— an Italian painting term
that loosely translates to ‘what’s left behind, or underneath.’
I photograph these fragments and digitally collage new elements into them—
reimagining what’s already there and transforming it into
something fresh and unexpected.
