Tuesday Afternoon

from $65.00

I spent over 40 years working in the corporate world, doing graphic design, art direction, creative direction, marketing, etc. The weeks were repetitive during the times that I was in the same job, but there were different points, like time markers, and Tuesday afternoon was one of them. Past the re-entry numbness of Monday, and not quite at the mid-way mark of Hump Day. Tuesday afternoons sometimes felt like floating islands of meaningless tasks, meetings, trips around the office, picking things up, dropping things off, etc. And now, that I’m on the other side of that lifestyle, now that I’m making art all the time, I wanted to make a piece that was joyful and filled with the gratitude that I now can do just that.

This is a colorful collage composed of many different patterns, drawings, and bits of painted moments.
