I sometimes scan or photograph moments from my paintings, then digitally transform them into something new. While the source is a physical painting, the final piece is a digital image—a reimagined version, or excerpt of the original painting. I’m calling this process Painting Prints.
I was in my favorite park, capturing a quiet moment just when Spring was about to arrive—when the season is just peeking around the corner. I took a shot of a bloom on a tree, then translated it into a painting. After scanning the artwork, I enhanced it digitally to create this final piece—a three-step evolution from nature to canvas to screen.
