The Wallpaper Collage series emerged from layering mixed media compositions onto printed samples of my original wallpaper designs. These richly textured works blend abstract forms, vibrant colors, intricate patterns, and fragments of drawings and paintings—creating visual narratives that invite open interpretation and emotional connection.

This collage, Cake, was selected for the set design of The Best Man: The Final Chapters, a Peacock miniseries, where the original artwork appeared on screen.

Built on a black-and-white patterned ground, the piece features a dynamic mix of abstract shapes, swirling brushstrokes in blue and mauve, and a prominently rendered drawing. Layers of oil stick and crayon markings, printed wallpaper elements, and found materials such as tags and ribbon are arranged in a carefully balanced composition. Organic curves and fluid lines lend rhythm and movement to the work, resulting in a richly engaging viewer experience.
