The title of this hand-built collage is drawn from a line in De La Soul’s song Knowing, reimagined here as a visual love story rendered in the warm, inviting colors of romance. The abstract figures suggest a shared history, set against a backdrop of sensual curves and flowing forms. The composition traces the arc of a long connection—years spent intersecting and influencing one another, culminating in the realization that this mutual love, is love in the truest way possible.

Constructed from a richly layered blend of hand-painted textures, custom patterns, and intricately cut and drawn shapes, the flowing harmony of the elements enhances the emotional resonance of the piece, making it a celebration of a love’s enduring presence.

Original collage, 14” x 11”, mixed media—including acrylic paint, original printed patterns, and found material, made on 140 lb. 25% cotton cold pressed paper and affixed to a cradled wood panel. Signed, titled and dated on the back.
